The new model of Maruti Suzuki Ignis was launched in India on January 27. The price of Ignis starts from Rs.6.90 Lakh to Rs.9.76 Lakh. Maruti Suzuki Ignis has come in four variants which include Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Maruti Ignis has a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, producing 82PS of power and 113Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and AMT. This engine has now been upgraded to meet RDE and BS6 Phase-II emission regulations.

Interior design and features
The Ignis has a grille with 4 U-shaped chrome inserts, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, contrasting color skid plates, blacked-out 15-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, an antenna, and an integrated spoiler. Inside, the Ignis gets a two-tone theme, a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system, an engine start/stop button, steering wheel-mounted controls, automatic climate control, auto-folding ORVMs, and seats 60:40 split rears. The new model also has many safety features.
