New Delhi. Ola Electric has become India’s leading electric scooter manufacturer in recent months with its S1 range. However, the electric vehicle maker has been plagued by safety and quality issues related to the single-sided front fork on its electric scooter. Now, the company has launched a campaign to replace the front suspension unit at no cost. This is how you can do it.
Ola Electric claims that the current suspension is roadworthy. According to Ola Electric, the current single-sided front fork unit on the Ola S1 and S1 Pro is not to blame. However, with reports of various incidents in the past, many were concerned about the build quality and safety of the electric vehicle.

The updated suspension unit has been thoroughly tested, Ola says. According to Ola, the company “recently updated the front fork design to further improve stability and power.” However, no specific information has been revealed about how much stress load it can take.
How to get front suspension replacement for free?
According to the post on Ola’s official Twitter account, S1 scooter customers can replace their existing front fork assembly with a new and improved unit at no cost.
To do this, all you have to do is book an appointment at your nearest Ola Experience Center or Service Center. The appointment window will open from March 22.
The Ola S1 range features a single sided front fork. For rider safety, the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro come equipped with front and rear disc brakes with Combined Braking System (CBS) and multiple riding modes. Suspension on both electric scooters is handled by single-sided wishbones at the front and monoshock units at the rear.
