San Francisco: Snapchat has made a major change to its media platform. The company has added a new feature, after which parents will now be able to limit the content that children can see. The company has dubbed this feature Content Controls. This new feature will allow parents to limit the type of content their young children can view on the app.

Let us tell you that last year, the company introduced ‘Family Center’ on Snapchat. The company’s goal was to give parents the convenience of knowing who their kids are talking to on the app and what content they’re watching. Now, the company has added a new feature in the app to provide more convenience for parents.

“Our new content controls in Family Center will allow parents to limit content they identify as hypersensitive and suggestive,” Snapchat said in a blog post. You can turn the feature on by turning on the ‘content’ filter. Teens will no longer be able to view restricted content in Stories and Spotlight.

Meanwhile, Snap has unveiled its new Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot for Snapchat, which is powered by the latest version of OpenAI’s GPT technology. The ‘My AI’ chatbot is available as an experimental feature to Snapchat Plus subscribers starting this week, the company said in a blog post.
