New Delhi. Meta, the parent company of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, has announced a premium verification service. Now on Facebook and Instagram you will also have to pay for a verified account i.e. Blue Tick. Its price has been set at $11.99 for web and $14.99 for iOS.
This week the service will start in Australia and New Zealand for the first time. This service will soon be launched in other countries. This was announced by the company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.
Now the blue badge is available through verification
Pages for creators, public figures, celebrities, companies, and brands receive blue badges after Facebook verification.
Twitter has already announced, you will have to spend Rs 900 in India
Previously, Twitter had introduced the Twitter blue paid subscription service. Twitter users in India will have to shell out Rs 900 a month for a monthly mobile phone plan to have a ‘blue tick’ mark on their accounts. The company recently gave this information. The platform has priced Twitter Blue at Rs 650 for web and Rs 900 for mobile app users. Twitter said that after getting the approval, the blue tick will be awarded to Blue customers with the verified phone number. The platform has introduced an annual plan for web users. For this, consumers will have to pay Rs 6,800.
