Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat will now run 6 days a week

New Delhi. There is good news for those traveling between the country’s capital, Delhi, and Baba Vishwanath’s city, Varanasi. Now, the Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express (Vande Bharat Delhi to Varanasi) will run 6 days a week. Until now this train ran only 5 days a week. Let us tell you that the Vande Bharat Express started operating between Delhi and Varanasi from 18th February 2019.
In view of the increasing number of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to operate this train every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from March 20. According to Deepak Kumar, chief spokesperson for Northern Railway, the Vande Bharat Express running between Varanasi and New Delhi (train number 22436/22435) currently runs on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Considering the comfort of the passengers, it will now also be held on Monday. This train will not run only on Thursdays of the week.

The Vande Bharat train covers the distance between New Delhi and Varanasi in just 8 hours. 22436 New Delhi – Varanasi Vande Bharat Express leaves Delhi to Varanasi at 6 am and arrives in Varanasi at 2 pm Similarly, 22435 Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat train leaves Varanasi at 15:00 and arrives in Delhi at 23:00. This train stops only at Prayagraj and Kanpur between Delhi and Varanasi.

The Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express chair car fare is Rs 1750. This includes the Rs 1,288 base rate, the Rs 308 catering charge, the Rs 69 tax, the Rs 40 reservation charge and the Rs 45 Super Express charge.
