The airline will need 30 pilots (15 commanders and 15 first officers) per aircraft. This means around 1,200 pilots will be needed for the A350 alone. According to sources, a Boeing 777 requires 26 pilots. If the airline includes 10 such aircraft, it will need 260 pilots. Similarly, 20 Boeing 787s would require around 400 pilots. In total, a total of 660 pilots would be required to install the 30 Boeing wide-body jets, the sources said. Similarly, an average of 12 pilots are required for a narrow-body aircraft.
